Description

This test is for farm fields. The basic test is for experienced farmers who can determine their own recommendations based on the nitrogen, phosphorus & potassium (N-P-K) levels of their soil. Results include N-P-K, organic matter, pH, buffer ph, crop lime & fertilizer recommendations.  You will need to include the size of the field and the crop being grown on the property. Stop in the retail store to fill in the form and drop off the soil sample.

Perfect for food plot areas and farm fields, the Basic Soil Test provides essential insights to help you grow healthy crops.

What’s Included:

  • pH
  • Buffer pH (if needed)
  • Organic Matter
  • Phosphorus
  • Potassium
  • Crop lime and fertilizer recommendations

How It Works:

  • Soil tests are conducted through AgSource Laboratories and are not physical kits or done in-house.
  • Bring your soil to our retail store for prepping to send out.
  • Samples are sent out every Monday at 11 AM.

Preparing Your Sample:

  • Take multiple samples from the area you’d like tested.
  • Mix them together thoroughly.
  • Bring at least 3–4 cups of soil to our store.
  • Fill out a form with your contact info, plot size, and other details when dropping off your sample.

Turnaround Time:

Results will be ready in 1–2 weeks and sent directly to your email.
